Who I am
Hi, I'm Marc
My name is Marc Bernat Rojo and I'm a qualified ski instructor with 5 seasons of teaching in Andorra. I work as a private instructor, which means you have lessons directly with me, with no ski school in between: when you book, you know exactly who'll be with you on the slopes, from the first day to the last.
I only teach alpine skiing, which is what I know best and what I love teaching. I'd rather do one thing and do it well.
How I work
The difference of learning with a private instructor isn't just the personal touch: it's the progress. Because I'm always the same instructor and work one to one (or with your group), I genuinely adapt to you.
- You set the pace: we repeat whatever we need to and move up when you're ready.
- Always the same instructor: we don't start from scratch every day; I already know how you ski.
- In your language: I teach in English, Spanish and Catalan.
- I know the terrain: where the best snow is, where to eat without queuing and which runs to avoid at lunchtime on a Saturday.

Who I teach
I've taught all kinds of people, and I especially enjoy helping those starting from scratch or skiing with fear. I work with:
- Adults starting from zero, or wanting to lose their fear and gain confidence.
- Children, with the patience and play they need to learn while having fun.
- Families and groups, adapting the lesson to different levels.
- Experienced skiers who want to polish their technique, parallel turns or carving.
Where I teach
My base is Ordino Arcalís, the resort known for having the best snow in Andorra, where I can teach lessons of any length. I also teach at the country's other resorts — Grandvalira (Soldeu, Pas de la Casa, El Tarter…) and Pal Arinsal — with a minimum booking of half a day. We choose the location based on your level, where you're staying and the snow conditions.
What drives me
What I love most about this job is seeing the moment someone loses their fear, links their first turns or finally gets down that run that had been beating them. I'm not looking for you to do tricks on day one: I want you to enjoy it, ski safely and want to come back. I go at your pace, with no rush and no pressure, and I take your progress personally.
