The basics
How lift passes work in Andorra
Andorra has three ski areas: Grandvalira (six connected sectors: Soldeu, El Tarter, Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Canillo and Encamp), Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal. The general Grandvalira pass covers the whole of that connected ski area, so you can move freely between sectors on one pass.
Prices are in euros — Andorra uses the euro even though it isn't in the EU.
- Day pass: the standard option for a short trip.
- Multi-day pass: cheaper per day than buying day by day.
- Season pass (Andorra Pass): for people who ski a lot of days.
- Pedestrian or beginner pass: ⚠️ these do not give access to the main pistes.
Prices
What a lift pass costs
Grandvalira and Ordino Arcalís use dynamic pricing: the price of a day pass changes with the date and with how far ahead you book, and there's no single fixed rate. Buying online in advance can save up to 15% against the ticket window.
As a guide, an adult day pass works out at roughly €50-70 depending on the resort and the date, with significant discounts for children and free passes for under-6s at many resorts. Multi-day passes bring the daily cost down.
Season pass 2026-27: the Andorra Pass
The Andorra Pass covers every resort in the country. For 2026-27 it costs €1,019 for a non-resident adult and €732 for children aged 6-11 at the promotional price, available until 9 December 2026; after that it goes to full price. As a rough rule, it starts to pay off from around 15 ski days in the season. If you ski mainly at Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal, the cheaper Nord Pass also exists.
Season pass prices published by Grandvalira Resorts and checked in September 2026. Day pass prices for 2026-27 weren't published at that point. Always check the resort's website before buying.
Avoid this
The beginner pass trap
It's the most common mistake for first-timers: buying the beginner (or pedestrian) pass thinking it covers everything. It doesn't — the beginner pass only covers the learning area, and the pedestrian pass is for going up without skiing. If you're having lessons you'll be on green and blue runs within a day or two, and you'll need a normal pass for that.
If you're not sure which pass suits your dates and your level, message me before you buy — I'll tell you what I'd get, with nothing to sell you either way.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions about Andorra lift passes
How much is a lift pass in Andorra?
As a guide, an adult day pass works out at roughly €50-70 depending on the resort and the date. Grandvalira and Ordino Arcalís use dynamic pricing, so the price changes with the date and how far ahead you buy: booking online in advance can save up to 15% against the ticket window.
Does the Grandvalira pass cover every sector?
The general Grandvalira pass gives access to the whole connected ski area — Soldeu, El Tarter, Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Canillo and Encamp — so you can move between sectors on one pass. There are also sector passes and single-day options.
How much is the Andorra Pass season pass for 2026-27?
For 2026-27 the Andorra Pass, which covers all of Andorra's resorts, is €1,019 for a non-resident adult and €732 for children aged 6 to 11 at the promotional price, available until 9 December 2026; after that it moves to full price. As a rough rule it starts to pay off from around 15 ski days in the season.
Do children need a lift pass?
At many resorts under-6s ski free, and 6 to 11-year-olds get significant discounts or free passes on certain dates with family bookings. Conditions change each season, so it's worth checking on the resort's website before you buy.
Is a beginner or pedestrian pass enough for lessons?
No. Pedestrian passes (for going up without skiing) and beginner passes (learning area only) don't give access to the main pistes. For lessons you need a normal pass — you'll be on the main runs sooner than you think.
Is it cheaper to buy the lift pass online?
Usually yes. Buying online in advance can save up to 15% compared with the ticket window, and it also saves queueing on your first morning. If you're not sure which pass suits your dates, message me and I'll advise before you buy.
